Khabarovsk will be the place of building of the dredging pump

Last summer Shiprepairing and Shipbuilding Corporation PJSC concluded a Contract for building of 4 nonpropelled dredging pumps of “X О 2,0 (ice 10) А” class of project No 4395. Public client is Federal Government Agency “Rechvodput”.

One of the ships of this series is designated for Federal Government Agency “Administration of the Amur Basin of Inland Waterways” and shall be delivered to Blagoveshchensk city of Amur region.

Because hauling of the ship from European part of Russia to the Far East may result in high risk, it was decided to build the dredging pump by a subcontract as close to the location of the operating company as possible.

Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Plant JSC (KhSP JSC) was elected as a subcontractor. This Company is a member of United Shipbuilding Corporation. The Contract with KhSP JSC was signed in the end of December. The keel of the ship will be laid in March and delivery of the ship is scheduled for the year 2024.
