Ship launch

Launch ceremony of 1000 m3/hour trailing dredge of PPP “X O2.0 (ice 40) A” was held on May 15. The ship was designed by Rostov Central Design Bureau “Stapel” and built against the order of Federal State Institution “Rechvodput” as a part of subprogram “Marine and River Transport” of national program “Transport System Development”.

Following building and fitting-out in September 2018, the dredge will be delivered to Federal Government-Financed Institution “Administration of Lena Inland Waterways Basin” to be operated on barrier areas of arctic rivers.

The dredge is designated for sand, muddy and fluvial bottom excavation and may be used for the following works:

- Dredging on different objects;

- Canal laying;

- Beach nourishment for housing and industrial development;

- Dikes aggradation.

Excavation depth: 1.0 – 10.0 meters.
