Laying down of a new vessel

An official  ceremony of laying  the keel for non-propelled dredging pump of “X О 2,0 (ice 10) А” class of 4395 project of the Russian River Register  took place on the slipway of SSC PJSC on August 13.

The dredging pump is built as part of the State Program of the Russian Federation “Development of the transport system” by the order of the Federal State Institution “Rechvodput” for the Federal  Budgetary Institution “Administration of  Kama basin of inland waterways”.

The vessel with a ground capacity of 700 m3 / h and with an interchangeable set of cutters (hydraulic and head) is intended for  excavation of sandy or sand –and- gravel and muddy bottom by barge and pipe-line method, for bottom dredging  in water areas and waterways, for dams silting  with the possibility of barge-loading and also through a dredge piping with the length of up to 500 m and a shore discharge pipe with the length of up to 100 m.

The main characteristics of the vessel: length - 54 m; width - 10.5 m; draft in working position with full load - 1.3 m; digging depth - up to 10 m; crew - 28 members, self-supportability - 20 days.

The vessel building is planned to be completed by the year 2021.
