THE BORDER FLOATING LANDING STAGE 09662

The border floating landing stage was constructed for the State Marine Inspection (SMI) and the subdivisions of the border authorities of the Russian Federal Security Service. Its objectives include:

• safeguard and protection of the state boundary, inland seas and inland territorial waters of the Russian Federation;

• temporary accommodation and also inventory and logistics management of the staff of other border authorities of the Russian Federal Security Service;

• assistance with the search and rescue operations carried out by the subdivisions of the border authorities of the Russian Federal Security Service in the districts where they draw their duty;

• controlling the displacement of the floating facilities assigned by the SMI in the appointed district;

• visual and radio channel control of the overwater and fishery situation;

• temporary accommodation and security of the retained people.
